Honest
We tell you what we found, including the parts that cost us the sale.
Our mission
Redneck Roadside Tech exists to keep vehicles healthy through pre-purchase vehicle inspections, mobile oil service and fleet service performed at the customer's home, workplace or business.
Honest Mobile Mechanic Services Without the Shop Markup.
What we are not
We are not an emergency roadside company. We are not a towing company. We are not a tire emergency company. Those are real needs, and they belong to our dedicated tire & roadside division.
Our focus is helping customers avoid breakdowns, avoid expensive mistakes and keep their vehicles dependable. We do not just replace parts — we help customers make smart vehicle decisions.
If Redneck Roadside gets customers moving again, Redneck Roadside Tech keeps them moving.
Not our lane
Flat tires, jump starts, lockouts, fuel delivery, emergency tire replacement and roadside assistance are handled by the Roadside Division of Redneck Roadside Tech. One company, two specialized divisions — the Roadside Division gets you moving again, this Mobile Service Division keeps you moving.

We tell you what we found, including the parts that cost us the sale.
Plain answers, plain quotes, plain timelines. No runaround.
You leave every visit understanding your vehicle better than before.
You are talking to a neighbor with tools, not a service writer with a script.
Clean work, clean driveway, clear communication, on-time arrival.
Hardworking, hands-on, and comfortable explaining the dirty parts.
A small local business that has to look you in the eye again.
Starting prices, what moves them, and written approval before work begins.
Realistic arrival windows and honest updates when anything changes.
Deferred maintenance happens. We help you catch up, we do not lecture.
Currently booking
Mobile mechanic work, diagnostics, inspections, oil service, preventive maintenance and fleet service are all active and booking. What can be completed mobile depends on the vehicle, the repair, the location and working conditions — we confirm that after we look at it.
DIAGNOSE FIRST
Batteries, starters, alternators, belts, tensioners, pulleys, selected cooling, hose, sensor, ignition and electrical work, plus bolt-on mechanical repairs — performed at your location when the vehicle, repair and conditions allow it.
DIAGNOSE FIRST
Code scanning, live data, charging and starting system evaluation, visual and mechanical inspection, electrical investigation and symptom verification — then a plain-English explanation of what we actually found.
SAME-DAY AVAILABILITY
An independent inspection at the seller's location with the Confident Buyer's Report™ — findings, photos, estimated repair costs where reasonably possible, and one clear recommendation: Barn Dance, Haggle Time or Dukes of Hazzard.
BY APPOINTMENT
A road-trip readiness inspection before you leave town: tires, brakes, fluids, belts, hoses, battery and charging system, leaks, warning lights and upcoming maintenance.
CALL FOR APPOINTMENT
Full synthetic service starting at $79 — up to five quarts of qualifying oil and one standard filter, performed at your home, workplace or business. Specialty, European, diesel and high-capacity vehicles are quoted individually.
BY APPOINTMENT
Mileage-based maintenance handled at your location, with the inspections and fluid work that keep small problems from turning into tow trucks.
REQUEST FLEET SERVICE
Scheduled mobile maintenance, diagnostics and qualifying repairs for local business fleets at your yard, workplace, lot or job site — documented, recurring and quoted per fleet.
Mobile capability
Bolt-on mechanical repair, diagnostics and maintenance performed at your location whenever the vehicle, parts, safety and working conditions allow it.
Our story

Redneck Roadside Tech started with a simple frustration: people were paying for repairs they did not understand, and sometimes for repairs they did not need. The parts were real, the invoices were real, but nobody was explaining anything.
So we built the opposite of that. A mobile shop that comes to your driveway, shows you the photo of the worn part, tells you in plain English what it does, and gives you an honest answer about whether it needs doing today, this season, or not at all.
This website is the Mobile Mechanic Division of Redneck Roadside Tech. One company, two specialized divisions: the Roadside Division gets you moving again when you are stuck, and the Mobile Mechanic Division keeps you from getting stuck in the first place.
Meet Bone
Bone is our shop dog and our resident explainer. Anywhere you see Bone on this site, he is answering a question customers ask us all the time — before you have to ask it. Bone never sells. Bone explains.
Bone has one job: make sure you understand your vehicle before you spend money on it. If a repair can wait, Bone says so. If a part does not need replacing, Bone says that too — even when it costs us the work.
Why choose us

We tell you what your vehicle needs, what it does not need, and what can safely wait — even when the honest answer costs us the sale.
Starting-at pricing explained in plain English, a firm quote for your vehicle, and your approval before any work begins.
We come to your home, workplace or business. No drop-off, no shuttle ride, no waiting room, no day off work.
Professional, insured mobile service performed in your driveway or parking lot.
A module scan is part of a pre-purchase inspection and of the brake or oil work we perform. We do not sell standalone diagnostics — a trouble code points at a symptom, not a part.
You get photos, the name of the part, what it does and what happens if it waits. You leave understanding your vehicle better.
No fake urgency, no countdown timers, no invented discounts, no upselling. Ever.
If our explanation does not make sense to you, we did not explain it well enough. Ask again and we will keep going.
You talk to the person who works on your vehicle, not a call center or a service writer with a script.
Based at 2219 Park Avenue in Norwood, Ohio. We live here, we work here, and we have to look you in the eye again.

Cincinnati roots
Proud Cincinnati community supporter and advertiser on Cincinnati Bengals & UC Bearcats schedules.
You will find Redneck Roadside Tech advertising on Cincinnati Bengals schedules that circulate around town every season.
We advertise on and support UC Bearcats schedules because this is where our customers, our families and our crew live.
We are locally owned and based in Norwood, Ohio. Community advertising, Big Al's Helping Hands and honest work in local driveways are the whole marketing plan.
Redneck Roadside Tech is an independent local business. We advertise on and support Cincinnati Bengals and UC Bearcats schedules — we are not an official sponsor, partner or affiliate of the Cincinnati Bengals, the NFL, the UC Bearcats or the University of Cincinnati, and nothing here implies team endorsement.
Core philosophy
Every page on this site exists to teach you something before it ever asks you for anything.
We show you the photo, name the part, and explain what happens if it waits.
People come back to the technician who told them the truth the first time.
Honest work gets talked about at work, at church and in the group chat.
That is the entire marketing plan. No gimmicks, no fake urgency, no countdown timers.
No fake urgency, no countdown timers, no invented discounts. Ever.
Customer reviews
Real reviews pulled straight from our Google Business Profile, rotated daily. We will not write our own testimonials and put a stranger's name on them.
Individual reviews are loading directly from our Google Business Profile.

Separate from the reviews above: Redneck Roadside Tech is a BBB Accredited Business. Reviews are what customers say — accreditation is an outside standard we agreed to be held to.
Transparent pricing
Mobile repair pricing is quoted per job because no two vehicles, locations or repairs are identical. Here is exactly what moves the number, so nothing about your invoice is a surprise.
A compact sedan, a three-quarter-ton work truck and a Class C RV are three different jobs, even for the same repair.
Access, fasteners, and how much has to come apart drive labor time more than the part itself does.
Quality tier and availability change the number. We tell you which option we are quoting and why.
You may supply your own parts. We will explain the trade-offs on warranty and fitment before we install them.
Same-day and after-hours requests are accommodated where possible and are quoted up front.
Distance from our Norwood base and the working conditions on site factor into the quote.
Mobile oil change packages start at $79. Everything else is quoted for your specific vehicle before any work begins — and we hold that quote.
Need emergency roadside help instead? Redneck Roadside handles that.

GPS dispatch advantage
Instead of describing a driveway, a back lot or the far corner of an office park, you can securely share your precise GPS location when you request service. It is optional, it is used only to dispatch your appointment, and it makes the whole visit smoother.
Need emergency roadside help instead? Redneck Roadside handles that.

Your shared coordinates route our technician straight to the vehicle instead of to a general address.
Real distance beats a guessed address, so the arrival window we quote is the one you actually get.
No transposed house numbers, no wrong-side-of-the-street confusion, no wasted trips.
Large office, apartment and retail lots are hard to describe. A pin puts us at the right row.
If the vehicle is parked somewhere unfamiliar, a location share removes all the guesswork.
Where we work
Our home base is 2219 Park Avenue, Norwood, Ohio 45212. Norwood sits near the middle of the Cincinnati map, which is exactly why we chose it — everything we serve expands outward from there. Customers closest to Norwood typically experience the fastest response times, and we still serve the greater Cincinnati metro, Clermont County and Northern Kentucky.
These neighborhoods sit closest to 2219 Park Avenue in Norwood, so they typically see our fastest scheduling and shortest arrival windows.
Regularly scheduled service across the wider Hamilton, Butler and Clermont County area. Arrival windows are slightly longer than Tier 1.
Served by appointment. Tell us the location when you request service and we will confirm scheduling honestly rather than over-promise.
Do not see your neighborhood? Ask anyway. We would rather tell you honestly that a location is outside our range than book a visit we cannot make on time.
Need emergency roadside help instead? Redneck Roadside handles that.

Third-party accountability
Redneck Roadside Tech is a BBB Accredited Business. Accreditation means we agreed to be held to a published standard of honest conduct — and that a customer has somewhere outside our own website to check us out.

We tell you what we found, what it means and what it costs before anything gets touched. No surprises added at the end.
Starting-at pricing, per-job quotes and photo documentation. You approve the work before we perform it.

If we got something wrong, we make it right. Accreditation gives you a formal path to hold us to that.
Tell us the vehicle, the location and what you're noticing. We'll come to your home, workplace or business.
