Scheduled maintenance is the backbone of a dependable vehicle. Instead of waiting for a warning light or a noise, we service the items your vehicle needs on an interval you can actually keep — because we come to you.

We document what we service, photograph what we find, and tell you what is coming up next. If something can wait, we will say so.

What we handle on a maintenance visit

  • Mobile oil changes
  • Air filters and cabin air filters
  • Fuel filters where applicable
  • Spark plugs and ignition coils
  • PCV valves
  • Serpentine belts, belt tensioners and idler pulleys
  • Battery terminal cleaning and battery cable replacement
  • Windshield wipers and light bulb replacement
  • Brake inspection and brake service
  • Cooling system inspection and hose replacement

Educate, never pressure

What you should know

Interval over emergency

Most expensive repairs start as inexpensive maintenance that got skipped. A belt, a hose or a filter is a small job until it strands you.

Documented, not guessed

Every visit ends with photographs and notes so you can see what was done and what we watched.

Know the signs

Common symptoms and common causes

If any of this sounds like your vehicle, you are in the right place. If none of it does, you may not need this service yet — and we will tell you that too.

Common symptoms

  • Maintenance reminder or mileage interval reached
  • You do not actually know when the last service was
  • Recently bought a used vehicle with no service records
  • Fluids, filters or plugs are overdue

Common causes

  • Normal service intervals coming due
  • Severe-duty driving: short trips, towing, heavy idling
  • A previous owner who skipped the boring stuff
  • Time-based wear on belts, hoses and fluids even at low mileage

Scheduled Maintenance: pricing, timing and coverage

Everything we can tell you before you call, told before you call.

Starting at

Quoted per job

Our published starting price is pending owner approval. Rather than post a number we have not confirmed, we quote your exact vehicle before any work begins.

Why we use starting-at pricing
Bone, the Redneck Roadside Tech shop mascot, explaining why

Why pricing starts there

The starting price covers a straightforward job on a common vehicle with accessible, non-seized hardware. Your exact quote is built from your vehicle, the parts selected and the working conditions on site.

Estimated repair time

Most visits are completed in a single appointment. You receive a realistic time estimate for your specific job when we confirm the appointment.

Appointment-based mobile service at your home, workplace or business.

What can increase the price

  • Rusted or seized hardware that takes extra labor to remove
  • Difficult component access or required disassembly
  • Larger trucks, vans, RVs and luxury platforms
  • Premium or dealer-only parts
  • Additional worn parts found during the repair (always approved first)
  • Same-day, after-hours or long-distance scheduling

Vehicles covered

Most cars, SUVs, light trucks, work vans, small fleet vehicles and RVs. No transmissions, engine rebuilds, internal engine repair, trailer repair or heavy diesel.

  • The starting price is the honest floor, not a teaser.
  • You get a firm quote for your specific vehicle before work begins.
  • If the job changes, we stop and ask before continuing.
  • No bait-and-switch. No hidden pricing. No surprise line items.

Educate first, sell second

Educational tips before you book

Things worth knowing whether or not you ever hire us.

Write down when it happens

Cold start, highway speed, braking, turning — when a symptom appears narrows the diagnosis fast and saves you diagnostic labor.

Keep your maintenance receipts

A documented service history is worth real money at resale and keeps us from repeating work you already paid for.

Do not ignore a small leak

Fluid on the driveway is cheap to fix and expensive to ignore. Photograph the spot before you move the vehicle.

A check engine light is data, not a verdict

The code points at a system, not a part. Anyone who quotes a repair off the code alone is guessing with your money.

Transparent pricing

You approve the number before we touch the vehicle.

Mobile repair pricing is quoted per job because no two vehicles, locations or repairs are identical. Here is exactly what moves the number, so nothing about your invoice is a surprise.

Vehicle type

A compact sedan, a three-quarter-ton work truck and a Class C RV are three different jobs, even for the same repair.

Repair complexity

Access, fasteners, and how much has to come apart drive labor time more than the part itself does.

Parts

Quality tier and availability change the number. We tell you which option we are quoting and why.

Customer supplied parts

You may supply your own parts. We will explain the trade-offs on warranty and fitment before we install them.

Scheduling urgency

Same-day and after-hours requests are accommodated where possible and are quoted up front.

Vehicle location

Distance from our Norwood base and the working conditions on site factor into the quote.

  • No hidden fees.
  • No surprise charges.
  • Written approval before any work begins.
  • If the price changes, we stop and ask first.

Published starting prices are pending owner approval. Rather than post a number we have not confirmed, we quote your specific job directly — and we hold that quote.

Straight answers

How long, what it costs, and can it wait

The questions customers ask us most, answered before you have to call and ask.

How do we fix it?

We confirm the fault first, show you what we found with photos, quote the scheduled maintenance in writing, and only then do the work — at your home, workplace or business.

How long does it take?

Most jobs are completed in a single mobile appointment. You get a realistic time estimate at booking, and a call if anything changes.

What does it typically cost?

A starting-at price for a straightforward job on a common vehicle, then a firm written quote once we know your year, make, model and condition.

Can it wait — and what if it is ignored?

Every finding is sorted into safety-now, service-soon or worth-watching. Safety-now items ignored turn into tows, rentals and repairs that cost several times more.

GPS dispatch advantage

Share your exact location. We come straight to the vehicle.

Instead of describing a driveway, a back lot or the far corner of an office park, you can securely share your precise GPS location when you request service. It is optional, it is used only to dispatch your appointment, and it makes the whole visit smoother.

  • Faster arrival

Your shared coordinates route our technician straight to the vehicle instead of to a general address.

  • More accurate ETA

Real distance beats a guessed address, so the arrival window we quote is the one you actually get.

  • Fewer address mistakes

No transposed house numbers, no wrong-side-of-the-street confusion, no wasted trips.

  • Easier parking lot service

Large office, apartment and retail lots are hard to describe. A pin puts us at the right row.

  • Easier service away from home

If the vehicle is parked somewhere unfamiliar, a location share removes all the guesswork.

Where we work

Centrally based in Norwood, Ohio

Our home base is 2219 Park Avenue, Norwood, Ohio 45212. Norwood sits near the middle of the Cincinnati map, which is exactly why we chose it — everything we serve expands outward from there. Customers closest to Norwood typically experience the fastest response times, and we still serve the greater Cincinnati metro, Clermont County and Northern Kentucky.

Closest to our Norwood base

These neighborhoods sit closest to 2219 Park Avenue in Norwood, so they typically see our fastest scheduling and shortest arrival windows.

Greater Cincinnati & Clermont County

Regularly scheduled service across the wider Hamilton, Butler and Clermont County area. Arrival windows are slightly longer than Tier 1.

Northern Kentucky & outer counties

Served by appointment. Tell us the location when you request service and we will confirm scheduling honestly rather than over-promise.

Do not see your neighborhood? Ask anyway. We would rather tell you honestly that a location is outside our range than book a visit we cannot make on time.
